Compensation: $5,400 - $6,250 USD/month

About the Role:
We’re looking for a Software Development Engineer in Test who combines technical mastery with grit and confidence. You’ll assess and improve the existing automation environment, establish scalable testing practices, and collaborate closely with engineers and product stakeholders to raise quality standards across the team. This role requires someone who is proactive, hands-on, highly collaborative, and able to take ownership in a fast-changing environment.
You Will:
Evaluate, stabilize, and extend existing automated test frameworks, preserving what works and improving what does not.
Write and maintain API integration tests and validate contracts, edge cases, and failure scenarios.
Own CI/CD test execution and improve regression signal quality by reducing flakiness.
Maintain a documented manual regression suite for flows that require live-environment validation.
Coach developers to write unit and integration tests as part of a shift-left quality model.
Collaborate closely with engineering and product teams to establish strong testing standards and support reliable releases.
About You:
Your Background:
3-5 years of experience in QA automation / SDET roles.
Strong experience with Playwright and/or Selenium.
Strong coding skills in Java and/or JavaScript.
Hands-on experience with REST Assured or equivalent API testing frameworks.
Experience working with CI/CD pipelines such as Jenkins and CircleCI.
Comfortable working in a Salesforce-based ecosystem.
Strong understanding of both manual and automated testing, and good judgment on when to use each.
Excellent communication skills — comfortable in a distributed, English-speaking environment.
Self-motivated, proactive, and confident taking ownership of testing strategy and execution.
Able to collaborate cross-functionally and coach developers on testing practices.
Nice to Have:
Experience improving existing automation frameworks, not just building new tests.
Experience reducing flaky tests and improving regression reliability.
Familiarity with relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL, and/or Redis.
Experience with GitHub Actions, TestRail, or equivalent tools.
Previous experience in SaaS product environments.

Compensation: $5,400 - $6,250 USD/month
