About the Company:
Our client is a major U.S. value retailer with a large national footprint and a fast-growing private label business. They manage a high volume of products across categories and rely on strong packaging systems to deliver consistency, speed, and quality at scale. Their teams work cross-functionally to bring consumer products to market in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
About the Role:
We’re looking for a Packaging Production Designer who enjoys structured production work and brings strong technical packaging experience. You’ll adapt existing label systems into production-ready packaging files, work across a variety of packaging formats, and collaborate closely with a highly supportive internal team. This is a great fit for someone who is detail-oriented, process-driven, and energized by high-volume execution work.
You Will:
Create production-ready artwork based on existing labels, templates, and packaging guidelines.
Adapt approved designs across multiple packaging formats, including hang tags, stickers, cartons, and other dieline-based assets.
Execute high-volume packaging production work with accuracy and consistency.
Follow established systems and style standards to maintain a cohesive look across product lines.
Manage multiple projects at once while meeting deadlines in a fast-moving environment.
Join weekly team meetings and collaborate directly with the internal production and design team.
Ask questions, resolve blockers, and communicate clearly in a remote team setting.
Ramp up through onboarding and gradually increase output as you gain familiarity with workflows and packaging types.
About You:
Your Background:
Experience in packaging production, mechanical production, or final artwork execution.
High proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop.
Familiarity with print production details such as finishes, foil, and packaging variations.
You understand dielines, layers, packaging structure, and how to prepare accurate production files.
You’re comfortable working within structured brand and packaging guidelines.
Ability to communicate professionally in English with a remote team.
You enjoy production work and feel comfortable with repetitive, detail-heavy tasks.
Organized, dependable, and able to manage shifting priorities.
You collaborate well, ask for help when needed, and respond well to feedback.
Nice to Have:
Experience in retail packaging, especially in home goods, textiles, apparel, or beauty.
Some broader design ability, including iconography or light creative support.
A portfolio with a strong focus on packaging work.
