About the Client
Our client is a growing company that helps small businesses make smarter pricing decisions by combining software and consulting. As the business expands, the founder is looking for someone who can take on more responsibility in managing client relationships and operational processes. The company has a highly collaborative and hands-on work culture, where feedback is valued and autonomy is encouraged. This role offers the chance to be a key player in shaping the company's future growth.
About the Role
The Lead Client Strategist & Operations Advisor will play a crucial role in both client-facing consulting and internal operational strategy. This role involves guiding small businesses in making strategic decisions, iterating on internal processes, and ensuring smooth client interactions. The ideal candidate will have a data-driven background, strong strategic thinking, excellent communication skills, and the ability to adapt to a fast-changing environment.
Mission:
Own the recurring client relationship, make the data trustworthy and legible, advise the owner on pricing and adjacent business questions, and execute the process in the existing tooling.
The role in one sentence: Help small businesses make big decisions as a trusted advisor and figure out patterns across clients
Responsibilities
- Shadow the founder’s client calls for the first 1–2 months, then transition to being the primary client contact.
- Identify patterns from real client conversations to help refine the product and service offerings, using these insights to improve the company's overall approach.
- Contribute to and refine the playbook for client interactions, documenting processes and iterating strategies based on client feedback.
- Collaborate with the founder to update and maintain the playbook as the company grows.
- Help hire and train a second client lead, ensuring knowledge transfer and consistency in playbook execution.
- Assist in refining and optimizing internal operations to improve service delivery and client satisfaction.
- Be a trusted advisor to clients, helping them make data-driven decisions in pricing and operational strategies.
