About the Company:
Our client is an innovative healthcare company transforming patient care through Virtual Reality (VR). They help patients access cognitive behavioral therapy and related support from home through VR headsets. With innovation and collaboration at their core, they are building a more accessible, engaging care experience for patients navigating therapy and recovery.
About the Role:
We’re looking for a Patient Success Coordinator to support patients throughout their journey using a VR therapy solution. This is a non-clinical, patient-facing role focused on engagement, accountability, and ongoing support. You’ll act as a trusted point of contact for patients, help them stay consistent with therapy, and collaborate with internal support and clinical teams when issues arise. This role requires someone empathetic, proactive, organized, and comfortable building trust over the phone and through digital communication.
You Will:
Serve as the main non-clinical point of contact for patients using VR therapy headsets.
Proactively reach out to patients to maintain engagement throughout their 13-month headset rental period.
Communicate primarily by phone, with additional outreach through email, SMS, and occasional video calls.
Support patients with encouragement, accountability, and habit-building throughout their therapy journey.
Monitor patient activity and identify when someone may be disengaging or experiencing issues.
Use CRM tools to track outreach, patient notes, and follow-up needs.
Coordinate with support or clinical teams when patients need help outside the role’s non-clinical scope.
About You:
Your Background:
2+ years of experience in patient engagement, health coaching, care coordination, customer success, or similar patient-facing roles.
Bachelor’s degree in a health-related field, psychology, or similar is preferred; equivalent hands-on experience can substitute if stronger in years of experience.
Experience working with patients or members in healthcare-related settings.
Comfortable speaking with patients by phone for a large portion of the day.
Experience with CRM systems; HubSpot experience is a plus.
Empathetic and emotionally intelligent.
Strong soft skills and relationship-building ability.
Able to motivate, guide, and support patients through challenges.
Organized and comfortable managing multiple conversations and follow-ups.
Proactive and collaborative when working across teams.
Nice to Have:
Health coach background or certification.
Experience supporting adults 65+ or Medicare populations.
Familiarity with cognitive behavioral therapy, behavioral health, or psychology-related care models.
Exposure to digital health, virtual care, or remote patient engagement.
Enough technical comfort to understand the headset experience and answer basic non-clinical product questions.
Compensation & Benefits:
Compensation: $2,000–$2,500 USD/month
Benefits: 15 days PTO + 10 holidays
