About the role
As a Recruiter and HR Specialist, you'll manage all internal recruiting and HR support for their stores. This person will handle the majority of recruitment. The role involves recruiting hourly staff, supporting HR functions, and assisting with GM and Assistant GM hires.
Key Responsibilities
Recruiting & Talent Coordination:
Manage internal recruiting for all store positions (hourly staff, GMs, Assistant GMs)
Post job advertisements on Indeed and LinkedIn, reflecting current staffing needs
Complete phone screens with candidates and schedule in-person interviews with GMs or Area Directors
Organize and manage “open interview days” with store managers
Coordinate onboarding paperwork with new hires in a timely manner
HR Support:
Provide general HR assistance and support store managers as needed
Generate weekly/biweekly labor variance reports comparing scheduled vs. actual hours worked
Assist in streamlining processes and improving efficiency for recruiting and HR tasks
Speak with employees and investigate HR related issues, as well as manage write-ups or terminations at the store level
Skills
Experience recruiting U.S.-based hourly employees and/or management staff
Experience and knoweledge of US labor law.
Proactive, able to take initiative and handle multiple tasks independently
Familiarity with job posting platforms (Indeed, LinkedIn)
Comfortable using spreadsheets for tracking candidates and HR metrics (ATS not required)
Ability to support both operational and strategic HR tasks
Working Hours
From Monday to Friday, 8AM to 5PM EST.
