They are building and refining internal systems and documentation to support efficient accounting workflows and deliver strong service to internal teams and customers.
About the Role:
We’re looking for an Accounting Clerk who can support accounts receivable operations and help create consistency across core accounting processes. You’ll manage day-to-day AR support tasks, work closely with the Controller and AR Manager, and help ensure sales orders, invoicing, payments, and customer account requests are handled accurately and on time. This role requires someone who is organized, proactive, communicative, and able to take ownership of their work after training.
You Will:
- Create sales orders and convert them into invoices
- Apply payments and support follow-up with clients on outstanding balances
- Provide account reconciliations to customers when requested
- Support the AR team with day-to-day accounting tasks as responsibilities shift across the team
- Work closely with the Controller and AR Manager to stay aligned and avoid duplication of work
- Learn internal processes, systems, and transaction flows during onboarding and training
- Manage recurring daily, weekly, and monthly tasks with strong organization and time management
- Communicate questions, blockers, or issues clearly and with urgency when needed
About You:
Your Background:
- Experience in accounts receivable, accounting support, bookkeeping, or a similar entry-level accounting role
- Ability to handle core AR tasks such as sales orders, invoicing, payment application, and customer follow-up
- Experience using ERP systems such as QuickBooks, Sage Intacct, or similar platforms
- Strong written and verbal English skills, with confidence communicating with internal teams, vendors, and clients
- Comfortable working in a remote, English-speaking environment
- Organized and able to manage tasks independently once trained
- Proactive communicator who asks questions when needed rather than waiting on blockers
- Strong sense of ownership and accountability for assigned work
- Able to work with little supervision while maintaining attention to detail and urgency
Nice to Have:
- Sage Intacct experience
- Experience with customer reconciliations
- Exposure to documented SOP-driven workflows
- Experience supporting accounting teams in fast-paced or changing environments
Compensation & Benefits:
- Compensation: $2,000–$2,500 USD per month
- Benefits: 10 days paid time off, 7 US holidays, company equipment provided, flexible schedule aligned primarily with Central or Eastern Time zones
