Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
This role plays a vital contribution to the development and support of our online platforms with responsibility for supporting and maintaining an optimal experience and security for our clients and employees. The ideal candidate is an individual who is thorough, adaptable, self-driven, proactive, motivated, eager to learn, and passionate about resolving incidents efficiently. The ideal candidate would be responsible for leading a team with different technology backgrounds from different locations around the globe.
- Provides support to all our IT systems/applications including day-to-day maintenance and enhancements.
- Service delivery outcomes of the Systems Support team.
- Through appropriate prioritization of tasks and resource planning, the meeting and exceeding of agreed SLA targets
- Facilitate inter-team communication and cooperation and be actively involved with service delivery activities.
- Ensure proactive maintenance is performed
- Utilize service management processes to manage incidents, problems and changes to the IT environments.
- Utilize appropriate methodologies to deliver application changes and implementations as a part of the project delivery function.
- Partner with business stakeholders, IT Management peers and senior management in the delivery of service and application support competencies.
- Provide leadership in the analysis and implementation processes by ensuring the quality of all technical deliverables is being maintained through such activities as facilitating formal quality reviews, conducting post-implementation reviews and actively identifying opportunities for improvement in quality of deliverables.
- Manage resolution of issues and risks associated with Service Delivery outcomes, escalating where appropriate.
- Manage the team to ensure they are meeting the requirements of their role and continue to develop their technical and business skills in line with their current performance and potential Manage key performance indicators to ensure goals are met.
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
- 4+ years in full-stack development
- 4+ years in leading support teams, policies, and processes
- Leading team of on- and off-shore programmers
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to develop/document processes and policies as it relates to supporting our clients and employees
- Ability to problem solve complex issues
- Ability to maintain and meet objective key results for upper management and goals
- Understanding of AWS Architecture
- Strong understanding of PHP, Angular, Symfony, Laravel
- Strong understanding of MySQL, NoSQL, and other database technologies
- Strong understanding of monolithic and micro services architecture
- Experience with Agile Methodologies
- Experience with GIT or other source control services
- Proficient in Linux
- Fluency in English required
