Job Summary
Tax Preparer I is an integral role within the Tax Team at AB FinWright LLP. They are responsible for processing client Business and Individual tax returns, reviewing of financial information and contacting government agencies on behalf of our clients.
Responsibilities
- Prepare US Individual and Business (C Corp, S Corp, Single Member LLC, Partnership) Tax returns
- Accounting and adjusting journal entries to client books
- Thorough Client work paper documentation
- Technical review of tax returns
- Client communication
- Communicate with governmental agencies on behalf of our clients
- Collaborate with Tax Team to review and suggest best practices resulting in a high level of service and quality of work for our clients
- Mentorship of Tax Team when applicable
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor Degree. Preferably in Accounting or Finance
Role Requirements
- 3+ years of previous and continual experience in preparing US Business and Individual tax returns
- Ability to manage and complete projects timely and within tax deadlines
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Strong communication skills
Role Preferences (Nice to have)
- Current CPA License
- Multi-state tax preparation experience
- International tax preparation experience
