Stryant Investments, LLC is a real estate investment company based in Atlanta, GA that has completed over 600 single-family rehabilitation projects, 650 apartment unit renovations, and 200,000 square feet of commercial build-out, in partnership with private, government, and non-profit entities since 2009. Stryant is also the parent company of a property management company, a private loan company, and a construction company.
Currently on the search for an Accountant/Bookkeper to aid us in a number of tasks such as:
- Assisting VP of operations with all accounting for multiple properties and loans
- Administration of accounts for residential and commercial tenants and properties
- Review lease agreements to determine applicable rent and fees.
- Review P&Ls and expenses to better manage assets and expenditures
- Prepare and review applications for appeals of property taxes, or development permit applications
- Creation & Analysis of property cash flow projections or budgets
- Outbound phone calls and internet research for property information including interacting with property owners, borrowers, lenders, government officials, and tenants.
You'll be a great match if you have/are:
- 5+ years of experience as an accountant/bookkeeper (Real estate accounting background preferred)
- Proficient in Excel
- Great use of QuickBooks
- Knowledge of Analytics
- Fast learner
- Optimistic
- Enthusiastic
- Great Interpersonal skills
Stryant has been involved in numerous Neighborhood Stabilization Projects (NSP) since its founding in 2009; putting life back into single-family homes and small multi-family dwellings and providing affordable housing to communities along the I-20 corridor of intown Atlanta. Stryant has also rehabbed 80 single-family homes still currently in operation as affordable rentals to clients of the Atlanta Housing Authority.
Stryant’s construction experience spans from complete historic residential rehabilitations to commercial build-outs of office and retail space. Stryant has completed over 200 single-family rehabilitations projects, 500 apartment unit renovations, and 46,000 square feet of commercial build out in recent years. In 2017, 2018, & 2019 Stryant Construction and Management, Inc. was named one of Atlanta’s Top Remodeling Contractors by the Atlanta Business Chronicle.
