As a Marketing Data Lead, you will oversee a team of data agents who serve the marketing operations and marketing automation teams for a large enterprise B2B client. You will manage the queue of client ad hoc data requests/projects pertaining to various marketing campaign efforts. The Data Lead will work closely with the marketing operations manager to prioritize requests and provide updates on open projects. The data lead will also be expected to own certain data requests and support their team of agents when issues arise or help is needed. As part of a larger team, you will be integral to ensuring campaigns stay on schedule. Additionally the Data Lead will be responsible for producing/maintaining clear and concise documentation on recurring processes.
Required Skills/Experience
- Experience Managing and supporting a team of 2-3 individual contributors
- Working closely with client stakeholders
- Strong SQL querying skills.
- Strong understanding of CRM environments and relational databases.
- Experience and desire to be in a client facing role with large enterprise clients.
- 5 years experience translating complex business rules/logic into concise easily digestible instructions.
- B2B Marketing campaign operations/support experience.
- Sophisticated understanding of customer segmentation, audiences, and suppressions.
- Meticulous nature with appreciation for planning, scheduling, execution, and accuracy, especially with regard to owning multiple concurrent projects.
- Salesforce experience, importing and exporting data connected to a B2B automation tool.
- Advanced MS Excel skills, pivots tables, power queries, Excel SQL.
- Worked on/Supported Email marketing campaigns.
- Ability to work independently and ask targeted, clear, and concise questions when the need arises.
- Strong written and oral English communication.
Preferred Skills/Experience
- Experience building and managing Email and/or Direct Mail Campaigns utilizing one or more Enterprise Campaign Management Tools (i.e. Oracle Eloqua, UNICA Campaign Manager, Adobe Campaign, Marketo, Hubspot, Salesforce Pardot).
- Knowledge of scheduling tools (cron).
- Familiar with ETL jobs.
- Understanding of Systems Architecture.
- Pandas data frame experience and/or other data prep and manipulation tools.
- Tableau or other visualization tool experience.
- Experience working with telecommunication companies.
- Experience marketing enterprise software and hardware products.
