Sandoval Tax CPAs is looking for a Staff Accountant to join our team! Sandoval Tax CPAs is a growing CPA Firm providing tax and accounting services. We have been in business since 2016 and currently have 14 team members working for the firm. We are a growing accounting and tax firm. We are constantly innovating by introducing new software, new procedures, and ways to improve our service to our clients.

 This job entails you to do monthly accounting for 20 small business clients in a variety of industries from realtors, restaurants, to construction contractors. Monthly accounting duties consist of entering bank transactions into QuickBooks Online, archiving and publishing receipts, reconciling bank statements, making sales tax payments, and sending financial statements to the Accounting Manager for review.

Because we are a young and ambitious CPA Firm, we are consistently growing. This means that overtime hours may be required when necessary. You will be asked to onboard new clients and set up their chart of accounts. This can result in overtime hours until the client’s books are up to date. Responsibilities:

• Enter bank transactions into QBO
• Archiving and publishing expense receipts
• Reconciling bank and credit card statements
• Reviewing and sending monthly financial statements to Accounting Manager for review
• Making sales tax payments timely
• Onboarding new clients
• Communicating with clients via email, text, and phone to obtain missing information

 Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting
• Must be able to speak Spanish

 Preferred:

• 1 year of accounting experience is not required, but preferred
