Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Elixir developer to work on exciting client projects at Verb. This position can be 100% remote.

Responsibilities:

1. Work independently or with other developers to create user focused web applications and features.
2. Assist in scoping, estimating, and planning of projects.
3. Collaborate with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders to understand client goals and ensure the successful delivery of the end product.
4. Participate in code reviews, paring, and other forms of knowledge sharing.
5. Attend and actively participate in team and client meetings as needed.

Requirements:

1. Production experience with Elixir and Phoenix
2. Experience designing and working with relational database systems
3. Excellent communication and collaboration skills
4. Experience with test driven development in Elixir

Nice to Haves:

1. Understanding and experience with JavaScript and any JS frameworks.
2. Experience working with clients, consulting, or freelance.
3. Experience working on a remote team.
4. Experience with Agile principles and methodologies.
