We’re hiring a Design-Focused Developer to help craft the front-end experience of a desktop app built with Electron. The ideal candidate has a strong eye for design and real experience working with React, TypeScript, and CSS—even better if you’ve built beautiful interfaces that run on Windows.
You’ll work closely with a technical founding team that values clean UI and practical design sensibility. This is your chance to turn beautiful mockups and creative product ideas into real-world, user-facing apps.
Design and build UI for a Windows-based Electron desktop app
Use React, TypeScript, and CSS to develop sleek, production-ready components
Share your best-looking portfolio pieces, apps, or UI samples as part of your application
Collaborate directly with founders to iterate quickly on design ideas and prototypes
Strong visual design skills and taste—you’ve built attractive, usable UIs
Proficiency with:
React
Electron
TypeScript
CSS
Ability to work independently and take ownership of UI/UX direction
English proficiency (spoken and written)
Nice to have:
Experience with Windows app environments
Previous remote or startup experience
Background in design or front-end focused roles
Fully remote with async collaboration
Flexible schedule and output-driven mindset
Compensation up to $12,000 per month, depending on experience and design skills
