At Near, we help top talent in Latin America find remote roles with US companies. Our mission is to create better lives by fostering a remote work culture that transcends borders.
Our client, a boutique digital agency based in Atlanta, is looking for a Technical Project Manager to join their tight-knit team. You’ll be working directly with the founder and a global team of designers and developers, managing a steady flow of web development and support projects (mostly WordPress-based).
This is a full-time, remote role for someone with outstanding communication and project coordination skills — someone who can spin multiple plates at once, keep clients informed, and move tasks across the finish line with autonomy and precision.
If you’ve worked in fast-paced, small team environments (agencies or startups), and you’re energized by juggling multiple website builds and updates at once, this could be a perfect match.
Manage 10–15 active client web projects at a time
Coordinate with designers, developers, and internal teams to keep tasks moving forward
Communicate directly with clients to provide updates, gather input, and maintain strong relationships
Own project timelines, documentation, and delivery standards
QA deliverables to ensure quality and consistency
Follow and refine SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) related to project onboarding, maintenance, and launches
Use Teamwork (PM software) to track tasks and workflows
Step up during times when the founder is traveling — take initiative, keep things running, and ensure no balls are dropped
3+ years of project management experience in a web/digital agency or website-focused company
Strong client-facing communication skills — both written and verbal
Solid understanding of WordPress (plugins, hosting, basic troubleshooting)
Comfortable with tools like Teamwork, Slack, Google Workspace
Proactive, self-directed, and confident owning tasks without micromanagement
Experience working in small teams or startup-style environments
Available to work Eastern Time Zone hours (flexible schedule OK)
Fluent English
Experience with Shopify, Webflow, or other CMS platforms
Knowledge of website support, hosting, and maintenance
Familiarity with webhooks or basic integrations (e.g. Stripe)
Eye for QA and user experience
Ability to travel to the U.S. once or twice a year (a tourist visa is a plus, not a must)
Full-time, long-term remote position
Competitive compensation
Unlimited PTO — with advance notice and team coordination
Flexible work schedule (as long as EST coverage is maintained)
Health stipend available for wellness-related expenses (gym, glasses, etc.)
Opportunity to travel to the U.S. for occasional client meetings or team sessions (expenses covered)
Join a friendly, collaborative, and fast-moving team where your input and ownership are valued
