Content Manager (Contract)
Remote | Full-Time | 3+ Months | Immediate Start
About the Role
We're looking for a creative, organized, and empathetic Content Manager to join a digital health venture on a full-time contract basis (minimum 3 months, with potential to extend). You'll lead content strategy and execution for a platform that helps users navigate the emotional and logistical challenges of loss.
You'll work cross-functionally with business development, product, and design teams to build clear, compassionate content that educates, guides, and connects with users at every stage of their journey.
What You’ll Do
User-Centered Content Development
- Translate sensitive, complex topics like estate management and end-of-life planning into accessible, empathetic materials.
- Use insights from user interviews to inform content decisions.
- Align content strategy with the product roadmap and user flows.
Content Strategy & Execution
- Own content across the platform and related channels (in-app education, onboarding, landing pages, blog, social media).
- Write, manage, and optimize content that supports user understanding and engagement.
- Keep messaging consistent and up to date across product and marketing touchpoints.
Collaboration & Creative Production
- Work closely with designers on UX copy and visual asset coordination.
- Support business development with content for press releases, presentations, and campaigns.
- Contribute to the launch of the platform’s blog and social media presence.
- Bonus: create or oversee light design/video content as needed (scripts, illustrations, etc.).
Who You Are
Experience & Skills
- 3–5 years in content management, digital communications, or product writing.
- Bachelor's in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or similar.
- Skilled in CMS tools (e.g. Webflow, Contentful), editorial workflows, and UX writing.
- Consumer-facing product experience (digital products/applications).
- Basic design proficiency (e.g. Canva, Figma) is a plus.
Mindset
- Empathetic and able to handle sensitive topics with care.
- Strong editorial judgment and writing craft.
- Comfortable in fast-paced, evolving environments.
- Experience in healthtech, mental health, or grief-related content is a bonus.
Nice to Have
- French fluency.
- Visual design skills.
- Healthcare or digital health product experience.
- Technical writing experience.
- CMS experience (ideally Contentful).

- Compensation in US dollars ranges from $30,000 - $42,000 per year
