Our client is transforming access to evidence-based mental health care for adults facing treatment-resistant depression, anxiety, PTSD, and bipolar depression. With clinics across Massachusetts, they offer advanced treatments like ketamine infusions, accelerated TMS, and ketamine-assisted psychotherapy. Their model combines clinical rigor, strategic discipline, and compassionate care — helping thousands of patients find hope in days to weeks.
We’re seeking a highly capable, deeply organized Strategic Operations Lead to help scale Cambridge Biotherapies’ internal operations. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in high-growth environments, excels at cross-functional execution, and brings a systems mindset to complex challenges. You’ll partner directly with the COO and take ownership of projects that impact every corner of the business — from billing and clinic expansion to marketing ops and process improvement.
Drive execution of key initiatives across billing, IT, operations, site expansion, and demand generation
Oversee marketing operations and support the COO in shaping and implementing top-of-funnel strategy
Own day-to-day project management — clinic launches, tech integrations, compliance rollouts, and more
Ensure smooth internal operations through process design, SOPs, and documentation
Collaborate with the billing team on process improvements related to benefits, prior auths, claims, and denials
Implement tools and automations (CRM, AI, etc.) to streamline workflows and improve performance
Support hiring plans, org chart design, and role scoping
Track progress across operational units and surface blockers early
Monitor key metrics and drive accountability through systems and reporting
Apply process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, etc.) wherever possible
Proven experience managing complex internal operations and cross-functional projects
Strong prioritization skills and ability to operate under ambiguity
Excellent written communication and executive-level coordination skills
Background in healthcare startups or multi-site operations preferred
Experience with project management tools, Google Workspace, spreadsheets, and documentation systems
Familiarity with healthcare billing workflows (AdvancedMD, GoHighLevel, etc. is a plus)
Bonus: background in demand generation, CRM pipeline management, or marketing ops
You’re a systems-thinker who can map, fix, and scale workflows
You don’t wait to be told what to do — you see what’s missing and solve it
You bring a mix of strategic thinking and detail-obsessed execution
You’re excited by the possibilities of AI, but you know when not to use it
You lead with clarity, empathy, and a bias for action
Long-term remote role with a mission-driven U.S. company
Partner directly with an experienced COO in a high-impact position
Be part of scaling a mental health organization making a real difference
Opportunity to own critical projects and shape operational growth
