Overview
We are looking for an experienced Digital Media Buying Specialist with a strong background in PPC and geofencing ad buying. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced agency environment, contributing to a wide range of projects from working with clients on buying strategies to developing internal processes.
Responsibilities:
- Manage PPC and geofencing campaign setup, pacing, audience segmentation, A/B testing, and creative rotation.
- Monitor campaign performance, proactively make adjustments, and deliver insights backed by data to optimize ROI.
- Collaborate with Account Managers and Content teams to ensure campaign goals are aligned with client messaging.
- Report on KPIs, performance trends, and ROI across all media channels.
- Act as a subject matter expert (SME) in paid search and stay up to date on emerging ad tech and trends in programmatic and hyperlocal targeting.
- Work closely with internal teams to deliver multi-channel media programs that are on strategy, on time, and within budget.
- Maintain proactive communication with your POD lead to inform them of placement updates and campaign progress.
- Billing and Reconciliation:Oversee the accurate reconciliation of media invoices for assigned accounts, ensuring alignment with campaign budgets.
Requirements
- 2–4 years of experience in paid media, media buying, or programmatic advertising.
- Hands-on experience setting up and optimizing PPC campaigns on Google Ads (main focus), Meta Ads, and/or Microsoft Ads.
- Skilled in audience segmentation, geofencing, and familiar with programmatic platforms (The Trade Desk is a plus).
- Data-driven, with a strong grasp of media performance metrics, A/B testing, and using insights to refine creatives and targeting.
- Experienced in budget management, pacing, and multi-channel attribution.
- Solid understanding of tracking implementation, UTM structures, and conversion pixels.
- Proficient in Excel or Google Sheets; experience with Looker Studio, Tableau, or similar tools is a plus.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and an effective communicator.
- Bonus: agency experience managing multiple clients.
- Current budgets are small (~hundreds/month), but the team is aiming to scale to ~$30K/month accounts.
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, US Central Time (CST).
