Overview
We are looking for a proactive and results-driven Organic Social Media Team Lead to join our marketing team. This role is ideal for a strategic thinker who is also hands-on, balancing leadership responsibilities with direct execution of social media tasks. The successful candidate will play a key role in enhancing and maintaining our clients’ brand presence across various platforms while managing a small team and contributing to the day-to-day workload.
Responsibilities:
- Use social media marketing tools to create, plan, and maintain an authentic and effective brand presence for our clients across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and Google Business Profile.
- Manage the creation, automatic scheduling, and publishing of over 1,500 posts per month across multiple platforms, ensuring content quality, brand consistency, and performance alignment.
- Supervise, coach, and develop a team of 2 social media coordinators. While leading the team, this role is also expected to actively contribute to the daily workload, including writing posts, scheduling content, and performing engagement tasks.
- Perform thorough QA checks on content before publication to ensure accuracy, tone, and visual quality meet brand and platform standards.
- Incorporate AI tools to assist with copywriting and optimize content creation workflows.
- Analyze social media metrics using platform analytics and third-party tools to generate performance reports and actionable insights.
- Organize and prioritize multiple projects and tasks to meet strict deadlines without compromising quality or engagement.
- Maintain clear and professional communication with internal teams and clients, ensuring content strategies align with business goals and brand voice.
- Familiarity with Google Business Profile management and event post creation is a strong plus.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in social media marketing, including internships or volunteer work in writing, leadership, or content creation.
- Some experience with SEO and content optimization strategies.
- Proven ability to enhance and maintain brand presence across platforms by managing the creation, scheduling, and publishing of high-volume content (1,500+ posts per month).
- Proficiency in social media platforms such as Meta (Facebook/Instagram), TikTok, LinkedIn, etc.
- Experience or strong interest in using AI-driven tools to support content writing and scheduling.
- Experience leading and coaching small teams (2–5 people), while also contributing directly to day-to-day tasks.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, with a proactive, collaborative mindset and a strong eye for quality in content creation, grammar, tone, design, and meeting tight deadlines.
- Experience in scheduling social posts across multiple platforms is a strong plus
- Possess the ability to work Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM PST.
