About the client
The company provides a cutting-edge platform that manages onsite solar, battery storage, and other distributed energy resources (DER) for multi-tenant properties. Their system tracks electricity production, tenant-level energy consumption, utility bills, and tariff data—integrating all of these sources to generate individualized billing statements for each tenant.
Ensuring the accurate and timely ingestion of data from a variety of external systems is key to the service's success. This role plays a critical part in proactively identifying and resolving issues when data is missing, inaccurate, or when data source connections fail—helping maintain the reliability of the platform’s monthly billing operations.
About the position
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Technical Integrations Manager to leverage internal tools, AI solutions, and problem-solving skills to execute key operational tasks while identifying opportunities for process improvement and automation. The selected candidate will be an essential member of Ivy’s operations team, supporting our product operations team to generate the billing statements which we deliver to our clients every month.
Responsibilities
Manage external data connections and perform ELT processing on external data sources to provide inputs for Ivy’s Virtual Grid™ billing platform
Identify edge cases and develop internal tools and scalable processes to accurately flag discrepancies and clean, correct, or re-ingest the data if needed
Manage rent rolls, NEM (net electricity metering) credit allocations, utility rate tariff, and other critical data sources for Ivy’s products; monitor for changes and update our product and internal database where needed
Work with product operations, data science, and account management teams to enable monthly bill generation for each community under Ivy’s management
Troubleshoot data issues and conduct root cause analysis when errors are detected
Develop QC procedures and conduct data audits to ensure data inflows are accurate and appropriately reflected in downstream client deliverables
Identify opportunities for automation, internal tooling, and process improvements within responsible areas
Support and contribute to other operational requirements as needed
Skills:
2-4 years in SAAS implementation, operations, customer success, or related field
2-4 years data management experience required (advanced Excel, proficient in SQL, basic Python scripting, etc.)
2-4 years experience with API data exchange, loading and cleaning data from disparate sources, and verifying accuracy of ingested data
Familiarity with leveraging AI to automate tasks
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Detail oriented
Highly motivated, proactive, and eager to identify and tackle complex multi-factor issues
Bachelor’s degree required, bonus in computer science, data science, or related field
Nice To Have
Experience building tools and reporting with Hex/Jupyer notebooks, ClickUp, and/or Sigma
Experience with data quality control and auditing
Experience with process mapping and automation
Prior experience using utility data and/or deep familiarity with proptech systems
Excellent written communication and the ability to clearly explain complex technical issues to non-technical stakeholders
Energy industry knowledge or experience
