Overview
A recognized consulting firm that helps businesses leverage cloud-based solutions to drive growth, scalability, and operational efficiency is seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk. This full-time, remote role is crucial for supporting our fast-paced accounting department by accurately maintaining financial records and ensuring smooth financial operations. If you have previous accounting or bookkeeping experience, a sharp eye for detail, and a knack for problem-solving, you'll thrive in our collaborative and innovative culture.
Responsibilities
Record Payables: Accurately record all payables into the accounting system.
Record Timesheets: Input timesheets precisely for client billing.
Apply Prepaid Funds: Apply prepaid client funds to invoices.
Billing Adjustments: Make necessary billing adjustments, including moving time between projects or correcting invoices.
Follow Up: Proactively follow up on open invoices and orders for assigned accounts.
Financial Operations Support: Assist with generating orders, applying payments from clients, and generating invoices.
Ad-hoc Accounting Tasks: Provide support with other accounting tasks as needed.
Qualifications
Previous Experience: Proven experience in accounting as a Bookkeeper or Accounting Assistant.
Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and robust problem-solving abilities.
GAAP Knowledge: Basic understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
Accounting Software Proficiency: Experience with accounting software. Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics GP or Sage Intacct is preferred but not required.

Schedule: Full-time position.
Type: 100% remote (LATAM based only)
Location: Remote.
