About the role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Payroll Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for accurately and efficiently processing payroll using ADP Workforce Now, while ensuring full compliance with federal and state payroll regulations. You’ll also act as a point of contact for employee payroll inquiries, providing timely and clear support.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately process bi-weekly payrolls using ADP Workforce Now
• Audit, reconcile, and validate timecards, PTO, and employee earning.
• Prepare payroll reports and analyze data in Microsoft Excel using formulas, pivot tables, and lookups
• Ensure compliance with all wage and hour laws, tax regulations, and company policies
• Address and resolve employee payroll issues or discrepancies in a timely and professional manner
• Assist with new hire setup, pay rate changes, garnishments, and terminations within ADP
• Collaborate with HR and Accounting teams on payroll-related projects
• Maintain confidentiality and accuracy of payroll data

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of payroll experience, including recent use of ADP Workforce Now
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Ability to construct formulas in Excel to perform complex calculations, automate tasks, and analyze data efficiently.
• Advanced English (C1 level or higher) – must be able to communicate fluently and professionally in both written and spoken English
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to meet strict deadlines and manage confidential information

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience processing payroll for 300+ employees
• Familiarity with benefit deductions, and wage garnishments.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting, Business, or related field (preferred, not required)

Working Hours

• From Monday to Friday, 8AM - 5PM CST.
