Overview

Westwood Millworks is a growing wood manufacturing company dedicated to re-establishing its brand presence and connecting directly with builders, designers, and homeowners. We are seeking a hands-on Marketing Manager to lead and execute the outward-facing marketing efforts. This full-time remote role is ideal for someone passionate about content creation, social media management, and digital marketing who wants to take ownership of a company’s digital presence from the ground up.

Responsibilities

• Develop, schedule, and manage social media content across LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook (1–2 posts per week)
   
• Source or create engaging visual content including photos and short videos using limited existing assets
   
• Write and publish blog posts to educate the audience and share the company story
   
• Maintain a consistent brand voice and messaging across all digital platforms
   
• Monitor social media engagement and recommend small-scale marketing tests and paid ad campaigns to optimize results
   
• Assist with website updates and perform basic marketing analytics to track performance
   
• Collaborate with leadership to align marketing initiatives with business goals
   

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in content creation, social media, or digital marketing (freelance, agency, or in-house)
   
• Strong writing skills with an eye for visual storytelling
   
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently and efficiently with limited resources
   
• Comfortable managing marketing efforts within a lean budget
   
• Basic design or photo editing skills using tools such as Canva or Adobe (preferred)
   
• Familiarity with the homebuilding or building materials industry is a plus but not required
