Overview
A fast-paced, dynamic startup providing crucial B2B integration services for the e-commerce sector is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Customer Operations and Support Specialist. This role is essential for facilitating seamless connections between businesses by managing the exchange of key documents and integrating with various systems. The ideal candidate thrives in an ever-evolving environment and takes ownership of their work.
Responsibilities
- Customer Support: Handle customer inquiries and support requests via email and Slack, serving as a primary point of contact.
- Customer Onboarding & Training: Manage the onboarding process for new customers and provide training on the company's platform and workflows.
- Documentation & Knowledge Base: Create and maintain internal documentation and the customer-facing help center/knowledge base.
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement opportunities to automate processes and improve efficiency in customer operations.
- Project Management: Manage standard customer implementation projects from start to finish.
- Problem Solving: Take ownership of customer issues, troubleshoot basic problems, document solutions, and collaborate with the technical team for escalations.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the technical team and other internal stakeholders to ensure seamless support and onboarding.
Requirements
- Proven domain knowledge in retail EDI or 3PL experience.
- Proactive, self-starter mentality comfortable with rapid change in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Excellent documentation and knowledge base management skills.
- Strong project management skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally in written English.
- Comfortable working remotely and independently while collaborating with a distributed team.
- Familiarity with systems common in the retail supply chain (WMS, OMS, ERP - e.g., NetSuite, GoodDay, SIN7/CIN7) (Desirable).
- Technical curiosity and eagerness to learn new tools (Desirable).
Working Hours & Location
- Schedule: Full-time position (approximately 40 hours per week), requiring preferred time zone overlap with U.S. Eastern or Central Time zones.
- Type: 100% remote Full-Time job as a contractor
