This is a fully remote role to work for one of our clients, a US-based company in the clean health and wellness industry that sells products related to sports nutrition, collagen, tea, and superfoods categories. The company is focused on delivering high-quality, great-tasting products while making a positive impact on people and the planet.

Responsibilities
- Review, verify, and process a high volume of vendor invoices, ensuring proper approval, coding, and timely payments.
- Match invoices with purchase orders and receiving documents, and resolve discrepancies.
- Process EFT, ACH, and wire payments, and prepare regular payment runs.
- Maintain accurate financial records and reconcile vendor statements monthly.
- Respond to vendor and internal inquiries and resolve any payment-related issues.
- Reconcile monthly credit card statements and post expenses via journal entries.
- Support month-end and year-end closing by preparing accruals and reconciling subledgers.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, tax regulations (e.g. sales tax, 1099), and audit requirements.
- Maintain well-organized AP files and support process improvements and system implementations.
- Stay current with best practices in accounts payable and contribute to efficiency improvements.
Requirements
- Associate’s degree in Accounting or related field (bachelor’s degree preferred).
- 2–4 years of accounts payable experience, ideally in a fast-paced, high-volume environment (500–600 invoices/month).
- Proficiency in accounting software (NetSuite or similar); experience with Concur is a plus.
- Strong Excel skills and solid knowledge of AP and accounting principles.
- Excellent attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with internal and external partners.
- Comfortable learning new tools and processes and working with sensitive financial information.
- Deadline-oriented, especially around period-end close processes.

- Compensation range: $24,000 - $35,000 per year. Please note that the final offer may vary based on the candidate's seniority, specific skill set, and performance throughout the evaluation and interview process.
