This position is for our client, a leader in the solar panel industry, renowned for their expertise and commitment to excellence. They are seeking a Customer Service & Project Coordination Specialist to join their team!
General Responsibilities:
- Coordinate installation schedules between homeowners, installers, and subcontractors to ensure timely and efficient project execution.
- Serve as the main point of contact for homeowners throughout the installation process, providing updates and addressing concerns.
- Assign project tasks and communicate clearly with subcontractors and internal teams to ensure everyone is aligned.
- Ensure all materials, documentation, and permits are prepared prior to installation start dates.
- Monitor the progress of ongoing installations and troubleshoot any issues or delays that arise.
- Maintain accurate records of communications, project milestones, and installation outcomes.
- Address funding-related concerns and ensure projects are closed out promptly and in line with funding expectations.
- Conduct follow-ups post-installation to confirm homeowner satisfaction and resolve outstanding items.
- Evaluate the quality of completed projects to a reasonable degree, identifying potential issues and opportunities for improvement.
- Availability to work from 12 pm to 8 pm CST - Monday through Friday
Must-Haves:
- Strong customer service background (especially with complex, multi-stakeholder scenarios)
- Experience beyond basic customer service – roles like:
- Office Administration
- Partner Coordination
- Quality Assurance
- Customer Service Management
- High attention to detail and critical thinking
- Proven ability to make informed decisions independently
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Comfort managing upset customers and troubleshooting issues like missing materials or scheduling conflicts
- Experience juggling multiple tasks and coordinating with different teams
- Familiarity with internal quality control and reporting
Nice-to-Haves:
- Experience in construction or solar industry, or similar operational roles
- Background coordinating installations or subcontractor work
