About the role
We’re looking for a highly organized and emotionally intelligent Executive Assistant to support our Chief Content Officer (CCO) — the executive leading our entire client-facing org. It requires poise, attention to detail, and a strong sense of how to communicate across a dynamic mix of stakeholders, both internally and externally.
The ideal candidate is someone who has worked in content-driven organizations and is experienced in high-touch executive support, especially with VIPs or public-facing leaders. You understand the nuances of power dynamics, can read between the lines, and know how to tailor your communication style accordingly.
Key Responsibilities
Calendar & Scheduling Management: Own and manage the CCO’s calendar — proactively optimizing time for strategy, content development, client interaction, and internal leadership.
Communication Filtering & Management: Help manage high-volume email and Slack communications, triaging messages, flagging priorities, and drafting or polishing responses when appropriate.
Content & Operations Support: Support the CCO in reviewing content, tracking deadlines, and coordinating deliverables — especially across client-facing teams.
Project Coordination: Keep internal and external projects moving by tracking tasks, updating Notion boards, and following up with stakeholders to ensure nothing falls through the cracks.
Meeting Preparation & Follow-up: Prepare briefs, agendas, and post-meeting summaries to keep everyone aligned and accountable.
Executive Presence & Stakeholder Engagement: Support the CCO in interactions with high-level partners and clients by helping maintain a polished, thoughtful presence across all touchpoints.
Desired Skills & Experience:
High-Touch EA Experience: You’ve worked with senior executives or public figures before and understand how to navigate complex interpersonal dynamics with discretion and grace.
Content Organization Background (Nice to Have): Experience in a content team, media org, agency, or startup where storytelling, publishing, or client engagement is central.
Notion Proficiency: Confident navigating and organizing projects, wikis, or documentation in Notion.
Strong Communicator: Fluent in both written and verbal English, with the ability to shift tone depending on audience.
Emotionally Intelligent: Able to manage sensitive communications, read the room, and adapt your support style based on what’s needed in the moment.
Digitally Fluent: Comfortable using tools like Google Workspace, Slack, Notion, Zoom, and more.
Proactive & Organized: You take initiative, anticipate needs, and always stay five steps ahead.
Schedule: Flexible, but generally overlapping with PST where the CEO is based
