Our US based-client in the food and beverages industry is looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Compliance Specialist to join their team. You will work closely with a dynamic team to ensure compliance with state pricing regulations across many US states. The role involves a mix of data entry, pricing analysis, and communication with regulatory bodies and internal stakeholders. The ideal candidate is highly organized, comfortable with data entry and analysis, and able to communicate effectively with both internal teams and external regulatory agencies. While prior compliance experience is not required, candidates should be comfortable learning and applying compliance-related processes.
Responsibilities
- Submit pricing and discount schedules to applicable states in the required format and within designated timelines.
- Manipulate and redact Excel and PDF files as necessary.
- Navigate state regulatory portals to extract essential inventory and sales reports.
- Work with internal teams to analyze inventory and sales records to ensure accuracy in data management.
- Maintain accurate pricing records and state codes in both internal and external systems.
- Manage the process for pricing submissions, ensuring compliance with control state requirements.
- Process daily, weekly, and monthly billing for control state sales, as needed.
- Generate purchase orders and shipping authorizations as required.
- Collaborate with the team to meet competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage large volumes of data accurately.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (basic formulas, data entry, file manipulation) and Microsoft Word.
- Ability to work with ERP systems (training provided on company-specific tools).
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic understanding of inventory management concepts is a plus.
- Prior experience in compliance, operations, pricing, or data management is a bonus but not required.

- Compensation range: $18,000 - $22,000 per year. Please note that the final offer may vary based on the candidate's seniority, specific skill set, and performance throughout the evaluation and interview process.
