Sales Development Representative (SDR)
Overview
Our client, a global leader in RF, Wireless, and EMC testing and certification services, is looking for a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated, proactive, and results-driven professional to establish and grow the company’s outbound sales function from scratch.
As the first SDR in the company, you will be responsible for identifying and engaging potential clients, managing outbound prospecting efforts, and setting up qualified meetings with decision-makers. You’ll work closely with internal teams to refine sales strategies, leverage marketing efforts, and help shape the future of our client’s sales operations.
Responsibilities
- Conduct outbound prospecting through cold calling, email outreach, and LinkedIn to identify potential clients.
- Re-engage dormant leads and establish connections with new prospects in target industries.
- Collaborate with marketing to leverage SEO and inbound efforts in outbound campaigns.
- Develop an understanding of regulatory compliance and certification to effectively communicate our client’s value proposition.
- Identify key decision-makers within target organizations and secure meetings with them.
- Maintain accurate records of outreach activities, leads, and opportunities in the company’s CRM.
- Continuously refine outreach strategies and messaging based on market feedback.
- Work closely with the executive team to optimize sales processes and tools.
Requirements
- 3+ years of sales experience, preferably in outbound sales, lead generation, or business development.
- Fluent English with excellent communication and client-facing skills.
- Strong ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with minimal guidance.
- Proven experience in B2B sales, preferably in a technical or SaaS-related field.
- Familiarity with cold outreach techniques, including email sequencing and call strategies.
- Comfortable working in a company with no prior structured sales function – ability to build processes from scratch.
- Highly proactive, self-starter mentality with a strong sense of ownership.
- Strong internet connection and reliable remote work setup.
