About the role

As a Sr Bookkeeper, you will collaborate, responsible for the basic coding and reconciliation of bank and credit card transactions for multiple clients.

Key Responsibilities
 

• Coding Bank and Credit Card Transactions Daily in the accounting software(QBO)
• Reconciliation of bank and credit card statements in the accounting software(QBO)
• Check email accounts daily for items to process and communications with clients, vendors, and/or customers.
• Manage recording and paying bills for clients via Bill.com or other similar software
• Will assist clients with processing payrolls as needed and record the appropriate journal entries in QBO, along with the appropriate accrual entries at the EOM
•  Assist with managing clients sales tax software like Avalara or similar
• Assist with the assembly of the monthly accounting package and other month end reports.

Skills

• 2+ years of experience in a similar role.
• Minimum of an Associates Degree in Accounting > BA preferred.
• Accounts Payable and Payroll Experience is a must.
• Strong understanding of US GAAP and firm grasp of accounting.
• Advanced in: QBO and Excel skills required > Must have Bill.com and Gusto Experience.

Working Hours

• From Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 5 PM.
