This is a role for our client, a property restoration and construction services company that helps customers with issues like fires, water damage, mold, etc. They have 350 locations across the US. Their team is growing and they are looking to add a new member to their crew, so if you're looking to be part of a dynamic team you can join them on their mission as an Accounting Coordinator.
Overview
As an Accounting Coordinator you’ll be responsible for providing advanced financial management and reporting capabilities while ensuring the financial integrity of the business through accurate bookkeeping and record-keeping.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all bookkeeping and accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger.
- Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Analyze financial data and provide recommendations to leadership on budgeting, cost control, and other financial matters.
- Manage the company's accounting software and ensure data integrity across all financial records.
- Serve as the main point of contact for the company's accountants, tax preparers, and other financial service providers.
- Implement and maintain strong financial controls and processes to mitigate risks.
- Train and manage any junior accounting staff.
- Ensure the company remains compliant with all relevant tax and financial regulations.
- Partner with the operations team to provide financial data and insights to support project management and decision-making.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience as Bookkeeper or Accountant serving as internal support.
- Background in construction or service-based business experience, such as home services (plumbing, HVAC, cleaning, landscaping)
- Poses experience preparing financial statements, including: statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks.
- Advanced English skills
