This is a role for our client, a property restoration and construction services company that helps customers with issues like fires, water damage, mold, etc. They have 350 locations across the US. Their team is growing and they are looking to add a new member to their crew, so if you're looking to be part of a dynamic team you can join them on their mission as a Desk Estimator.

Overview

As a Desk Estimator you’ll be responsible for preparing estimates and supplementals for reconstruction and emergency services using 3D scans and Project Director scopes. They create estimates with specialized software and collaborate with clients for approval.

Responsibilities:

• Meet all service standards set forth by the client or the company.
• Estimate each loss using a 3rd party estimating software, Xactimate or Symbility (as required).
• Train on these estimating tools as needed.
• Utilize PDO QA for peer review
• Ensure each project achieves a minimum gross profit margin as determined by company standards.
• Complete estimates within 24 hours of assignment
• Communicate and document any change orders and insurance supplements.

Requirements

• 2-5 years of experience as Desk/Cost/Construction Estimator.
• Background in construction, restoration, or property services preferred.
• Ability to learn and operate our primary operating systems: Xactimate and/or Symbility required (nice to have)
• Previous experience answering and communicating with customers over the phone.
• Advanced English skills
