About the role

As a Financial Analyst This role focuses on sell-side advisory services, involving the preparation of businesses for sale and managing the transaction process for companies valued between $5 million and $50 million.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct valuations of privately-held businesses.
• Prepare detailed financial models to support business valuations and decision-making processes.
• Analyze financial statements to calculate Adjusted EBITDA, adjust balance sheets, assess net working capital, and more.
• Organize and synthesize financial data into comprehensive reports.
• Develop marketing materials and pitch books to effectively present client businesses to potential buyers.
• Manage Virtual Data Rooms and coordinate due diligence processes.
• Collaborate with business owners, private equity groups, and other stakeholders.

Skills

• Education and Experience: 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
  • Certifications preferred (CPA, CFA).
  • 3-5 years in accounting, financial analysis or mergers & acquisitions.
• Skills: 
  • Proficiency in financial modeling.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel capabilities (including PivotTables).
  • Familiarity with tools like Office 365.
  • Ability to learn and maintain project management software, including ClickUp and CapLinked (training will be provided).

Working Hours

• From Monday to Friday, 8:30AM to 5:30PM EST.
