This is a fully remote role to work for our clients, a US-based psycotherapy platform. As they scale, they are looking for an experienced and highly organized COO to oversee daily operations, ensure efficiency, and manage financial functions, including bookkeeping and financial planning.

Responsibilities
- Operational Leadership: Ensure efficiency across departments, optimize administrative and operational workflows, and improve clinical efficiency.
- Financial Oversight: Supervise financial planning, receivables, and payables, ensuring accuracy and strategic growth without handling day-to-day financial tasks.
- Revenue Cycle Management: Oversee billing processes, ensure accurate insurance reimbursements, and track cash flow.
- Strategic Planning: Develop growth models and financial projections to support business expansion goals.
- Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies in current operational and marketing systems and implement streamlined solutions.
- Team Management: Provide leadership to a team of 3-5 direct reports, including finance, billing, administrative, and operational staff.
- Technology & Systems: Oversee the use of existing CRM and operational software to enhance efficiency.
- Marketing Oversight: Ensure marketing strategies are optimized and streamlined, working closely with marketing professionals to improve outreach efforts.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the CEO to align operations with business goals and drive long-term success.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in an operational leadership role, preferably in a mid-tier or startup environment.
- Strong financial background, including experience with budget planning, profit analysis, and expense management.
- Experience overseeing revenue cycle management, including insurance billing and accounts receivable/payable.
- Ability to drive strategic initiatives, improve organizational structure, and optimize workflows.
- Familiarity with CRM and financial software; experience with Monday.com is a plus.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to mentor and oversee multiple departments.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
- Experience in a growing or evolving company where pivoting and adapting to changes is essential.
- Exceptional communication and organizational skills.
