About the Job:
Our client, developed by a venture-backed technology firm based in Silicon Valley, is recognized as a leader in construction pricing data and is looking for a Director of Sales
Mission
- This role will establish and lead the Buenos Aires sales team by creating a pipeline of local talent and coaching them into high-performing sales representatives.
- Develop scalable recruitment, training, and mentorship systems while actively contributing to the creation and execution of sales playbooks.
- Leverage prior experience scaling and managing sales teams for US-based technology companies, combined with a deep, product-minded approach to become an expert in the company’s offering.
- Be present in the office to provide real-time coaching and mentorship, fostering a culture of growth and collaboration.
- Thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment through adaptability, resilience, and resourcefulness.
Responsibilities:
- Build a Local Talent Pipeline:
- Design and execute a local talent recruitment and development program to build a steady pipeline of high-potential candidates.
- Hire, train, and ramp up local sales reps in the first six months, ensuring they meet key performance metrics.
- Ramp and Scale Talent:
- Implement a training and coaching program that ramps new hires to full productivity within 30-60 days.
- Enable successful training & performance into Account Executive or Customer Success roles.
- Product Expertise and Playbook Development:
- Become an expert in the company’s product to ensure the team can sell confidently and accurately.
- Collaborate with the leadership team to develop sales playbooks tailored for the local market and train the local team to execute them effectively.
- Live Coaching and Mentorship:
- Be physically present in the office to provide live feedback, shadowing, and hands-on support to the sales team during calls and client interactions.
- Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and high performance.
- Achieve Revenue Targets
- Drive the team to meet and exceed aggressive sales targets, contributing significantly to the company’s overall revenue growth.

- Demonstrate resilience and resourcefulness by solving challenges quickly, adapting to change, and thriving in a fast-paced, high-growth company culture.
Requirements
Experience:
- Minimum 3-4 years of experience in sales management.
- Proven track record of managing 10-20+ people (directly or through managers).
- Experience in scaling sales teams and setting up recruitment pipelines, training programs, and mentorship initiatives.
- Background in tech companies (startups or scale-ups preferred, e.g., fintech, SaaS, or similar industries).
Skills:
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to train, mentor, and develop sales talent.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in English (written and spoken) is mandatory.
- Experience in crafting and executing sales strategies.

What’s in it for you?
- Competitive salary in US dollars,ranging from $60,000 - $84,000 per year. Please note that the final salary offer may vary based on the candidate's seniority, specific skill set, and performance throughout the evaluation and interview process.
