This is a fully remote role to work for our clients in the vitamins, minerals and supplements industry. Join them on their mission to collaborate with healthcare professionals to give them the tools they need to help their patients achieve great health! In this role, you will collaborate with suppliers, logistics providers, and internal teams to streamline processes, reduce costs, and ensure seamless operations. As the primary liaison for our 3PL partners, you will oversee inventory accuracy, cycle counts, and shipment documentation while ensuring inventory alignment and on-time delivery.

Responsibilities
- Supply Chain Coordination: Manage and coordinate the movement of finished goods, bulk, and raw materials between suppliers, manufacturers, and distribution centers to ensure timely and efficient delivery.
- Inventory Management: Monitor and maintain inventory levels, avoiding excess stock or shortages while supporting the Supply Chain Manager in optimizing stock availability.
- Procurement Support: Source and purchase raw materials and finished goods, ensuring cost-effectiveness and adherence to quality standards.
- Vendor Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and third-party logistics providers, negotiating terms to improve efficiency and reduce transportation costs.
- Logistics Management: Work closely with contract manufacturers and freight companies to ensure on-time delivery of goods. Manage shipment documentation, freight schedules, and inventory receipts within NetSuite, and coordinate with the Quality team to release finished goods upon arrival at our 3PL.
- Problem Solving: Identify and address supply chain disruptions such as delays, inventory shortages, or quality issues. Propose and implement corrective actions in collaboration with the Supply Chain Manager.
- Reporting: Prepare and maintain open order reports and conduct cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Compliance & Documentation: Ensure compliance with regulatory standards (customs, safety, environmental) and maintain accurate records for audits and reporting.
- Process Improvement: Evaluate current supply chain processes and implement strategies to enhance efficiency, cost savings, and sustainability.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in supply chain operations, including inventory management, procurement, and logistics.
- Experience working with 3PL partners; experience with contract manufacturers is a plus.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (NetSuite preferred).
- Intermediate Excel skills, including VLOOKUP, pivot tables, and other analytical functions.
- Strong communication skills to effectively coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and logistics partners.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities to quickly identify and resolve issues.
- Highly organized with meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy in all aspects of supply chain management.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks effectively, and adapt to evolving circumstances.
- Prior experience in the CPG or supplement industry is preferred.
