This is a role for our client, a health and wellness company utilizing superfoods. Their team is growing and they are looking to add a new member to their crew, so if you're looking to be part of a dynamic team you can join them on their mission as an Accounting Coordinator.
Overview
The Accounting Coordinator is an entry-level position responsible for supporting the accounting team in daily operations. This role involves working closely with the staff accountant, handling transactions, and ensuring records are well-maintained.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in posting daily credit card transactions and ensuring proper documentation.
- Collect and verify receipts for expenses.
- Ensure proper approvals for financial transactions.
- Post bank transactions and reconcile records.
- Support the accounting team in various administrative tasks.
- Help manage the accounting inbox and respond to inquiries from internal departments (e.g., marketing, operations) regarding payments and invoices.
- Coordinate with vendors to resolve payment issues.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as an Accounting Coordinator, Bookkeeper, or in a similar role
- Previous experience with:
- Posting daily credit card transactions and managing approvals.
- Posting bank transactions.
- Managing the accounting inbox and addressing inquiries from other departments.
- Assisting with receipt tracking and approvals.
- Basic Excel & Google Sheets proficiency.
- Strong organizational skills & attention to detail.
- Advanced English skills
Nice to haves
- Familiarity with ERP systems is a plus (NetSuite experience ideal but not required).
- Basic accounting knowledge; US GAAP familiarity is a plus.
