About the role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Logistics Coordinator to join our team. This individual will be responsible for managing and coordinating appliance orders between third-party logistics companies and customers. The ideal candidate will have strong computer skills and excellent communication abilities, as the role involves tracking deliveries, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring smooth coordination between all parties involved.
Key Responsibilities
- Order Coordination: Work with third-party logistics companies and customers to schedule and manage appliance deliveries. Ensure timely and accurate delivery of appliances, working to resolve any scheduling conflicts or issues that may arise.
- Communication: Serve as the main point of contact for customers, logistics companies, and internal teams, providing updates, answering questions, and resolving concerns in a professional and efficient manner.
- Delivery Tracking: Monitor and track all appliance deliveries from start to finish. Ensure deliveries are successful and make note of any blocked or delayed deliveries. Update internal records and communicate with management on the status of deliveries.
- Issue Resolution: Investigate any issues with delivery (e.g., delays, damages, missed appointments) and proactively work to resolve them with both customers and logistics providers.
- Data Entry & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of all appliance orders, deliveries, and issues. Use internal software and tools to track progress and ensure data is updated and accurate.
- Documentation: Ensure that all required documentation, including delivery confirmations and receipts, is collected and filed correctly.
- Customer Service: Provide high-quality customer service by managing customer expectations, answering inquiries, and addressing any delivery-related concerns with empathy and professionalism.
Skills
- Computer Skills: Proficient in Google Workspace and ability to quickly learn internal software and tracking tools.
- Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to interact professionally with customers, vendors, and team members.
- Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
- Problem-Solving: Strong ability to identify issues and find solutions quickly in a fast-paced environment.
- Customer-Focused: Ability to handle customer inquiries and issues with a positive attitude, ensuring customer satisfaction.
