An opportunity exists for a Senior Controller for one of our US-based clients. This role is ideal for a leader passionate about driving impactful financial decisions and shaping financial operations for growth and success.

Key Responsibilities

• Banking and Compliance: Act as the primary contact for all banking relationships, maintaining compliance with banking agreements and regularly communicating with banks on financial performance and any operational changes.

• Financial Reporting and Analysis: Oversee preparation and consolidation of accurate financial statements (income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements) across business units. Provide comprehensive financial analysis to support strategic decisions and deliver reports and forecasts to the executive leadership.

• Budgeting and Forecasting: Lead the annual budgeting process, collaborating with business leaders to create detailed budgets and forecasts. Monitor financial performance, address variances, and make adjustments as necessary to stay aligned with business goals.

• Cash Flow and Working Capital: Manage cash flow forecasting and working capital to optimize liquidity and meet funding needs effectively.

• Internal Controls and Compliance: Establish and uphold strong internal controls to ensure GAAP and regulatory compliance, implementing financial policies and procedures across all units.

• Process Improvement: Identify and execute financial operations improvements to boost efficiency and accuracy.

• Audit and Tax Management: Serve as the main point of contact with external auditors, coordinating timely audits. Work with tax advisors to ensure compliance across entities and manage tax filings.

• Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of finance and accounting professionals, fostering a culture of accountability, development, and high performance.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in senior finance/accounting roles
• Public accounting experience is desired
• Strong knowledge of financial regulations and GAAP/IFRS
• ERP expertise (NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, or similar) & advanced Excel skills
• Proven leadership experience
• Ability to manage banking relationships and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field required; MBA or equivalent preferred.
