We're looking for a Business Development Representative (BDR) for our US-based client, a SaaS platform specifically made for restaurants. If you're passionate about small business and are looking to thrive in a highly competitive environment, this role is for you!
While this a remote role, you must be based in Colombia or Mexico to apply, with full working rights in either of those countries.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the outbound sales team to generate new business opportunities, focusing on U.S.-based restaurant owners
- Prospecting and investigating clients to make the best out of your time
- Cold calling and texting our prospective clients - expect to make a high number of cold calls a day
- Engage in continuous learning through reading, podcasts, and peer collaboration
- Exceed sales targets to contribute to team and company-wide success
Requirements
- At least 6 months of experience in sales roles. Background in software sales is strongly preferred
- Experience working with English-speaking customers
- A consultative, customer-focused sales approach
- Proven track record of professional success and growth
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment
- Experience with restaurants (either selling to or working in them) is a major plus
- Stable high-speed internet connection for virtual meetings and tools
- Demonstrated experience working independently in a remote setting
- Fluent in both Spanish and English, with strong communication skills in both languages
