Overview
As the Graphic Designer, Performance & Retention, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining graphic assets for Clocks and Colours, with a focus on email marketing, social media content, and web design. You will work closely with the Senior Creative & Marketing Strategist, who will provide guidance and feedback to ensure that your work aligns with the brand’s visual identity and marketing objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Graphic Design: Create and uphold graphic design systems and brand standards across owned and paid marketing channels (performance advertising, email, social media, website, etc)
- Performance Advertising: Continually create new static and video graphics for use across digital advertising platforms such as Meta, TikTok, YouTube and Pinterest.
- Email Marketing: Design and coordinate email marketing campaigns, ensuring that all visual elements are on-brand and optimized for engagement. Update email flow graphics on a quarterly basis.
- Social Media Content: Develop and design content for social media platforms, ensuring consistency in style and tone with the brand’s overall aesthetic.
- Promotions: Creation of design systems for promotional materials such as Sales, Giveaways, Contests and in-store Retail activations.
- Web Design: Design and update web banners and other web-related graphics as needed, ensuring they are visually aligned with ongoing marketing campaigns.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the Senior Creative & Marketing Strategist to receive feedback and improve your design work, while also collaborating with other team members as needed.
- Learning & Development: Engage in continuous learning through research and webinars to stay updated on industry trends and improve your design skills.
- Process Adherence: Follow established design systems and processes, ensuring consistency across all visual outputs.
Requirements
- Must have a strong Graphic Design portfolio, including digital assets for performance advertising, web, email and social.
- A minimum of 2 years relevant work experience in the Graphic Design field, agency background is preferred.
- Proficiency in Figma, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Premiere is a must.
- Strong conceptual thinker, ability to think across multiple platforms of communication.
- Excellent understanding of graphic design and brand identity (typography, layout and color theory).
- Keeps up to date with current trends, media, technology and other design influences.
- Experience designing for email marketing, paid Meta advertising and other digital platforms, such as Facebook and Instagram.
- Good presentation skills and the ability to create mock-ups to build pitch decks.
- Understanding of photography (composition and color treatment / effects).
