About the role
If you’re the kind of person who loves taking on a new project every day, this Digital Marketing Specialist role is for you. We need someone who lives and breathes digital marketing, strategy, and content creation, with the technical knowledge to own significant KPIs responsible for driving company growth. This role involves a variety of tasks, so the ability and enthusiasm to pivot quickly during your workday is a major plus.
Key Responsibilities
- Work directly with the Director of Operations and Marketing to develop and implement marketing strategies
- Become a small business expert and learn the product FABs inside and out
- QA and testing of website, marketing channels, and products as needed
- Content creation, including copywriting, proofreading, and development
- KPI-driven reporting and data analysis that monitors behavior and creates actionable plans to improve results
- Extensive email marketing, including product drip campaigns, eblasts, and newsletters
- Occasional graphic design, white paper design, and short video editing
- Organizational support, including organizing meetings and handling inquiries
- Managing relationships with partners, affiliates, and influencers
- Conducting market research and staying on top of trends and influencers that matter to our target market
- Collaborate with remote team members as needed (potentially at early or later hours)
- Event support online and offline, including webinars, trade shows, and special events
- Social media management including managing and scheduling posts, tracking engagement, identifying new trends, and recommending new strategies
Skills
- 5-7 years of professional experience or related schooling in a well-regarded technical college or a degree in marketing
- Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability to new challenges/tools
- A desire for both independent work and team projects that require collaboration
- Superb written and verbal communication skills in English
- Experience with HubSpot Marketing Hub, Monday Marketer, and Figma
- Comfort with working 100% remotely and checking in regularly – having dedicated office space is ideal as calls are frequent
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Highly self-motivated, assertive, and professional
- Solid knowledge of website analytics tools, including Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity
- A knack for efficient and action-plan-driven brainstorming is a huge plus
- Able to pass a background check
- Excellent knowledge of AI tools, including best practices, efficient prompts, and limitations
- Knowledge of small business, finance, B2B, payments or accounting is required
