About the role
As a Marketing Coordinator, you will support the marketing department, regional leaders, and schools. This role involves creating and executing marketing materials and content, including ads, promotional materials, blog posts, and social media content. The coordinator will design graphic elements, update school websites, assist with email campaigns, and support local school events. Ideal candidates should have basic graphic design skills, experience with digital marketing tools, and strong communication abilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the agency and internal teams to develop marketing collateral, ads and promotional materials
- Create compelling marketing copy, blog posts and social media content
- Design and produce graphic elements for digital and print media, including flyers, banners and social media graphics
- Regularly review and update school websites to ensure accurate and engaging content
- Support the promotion of local school events by contributing to the creation of materials and online content to drive attendance
- Assist in the setup and execution of email campaigns using our CRM system
- Assist in placing orders for promotional swag for schools
- Other duties as assigned
Skills
- A minimum of 1-2 years of marketing experience preferred
- BA/BS in Marketing or a relevant field
- Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate in written and verbal forms of the English language
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- Basic graphic design skills, including proficiency with Canva and Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
- Proficient in Facebook, Instagram and multi-social posting programs
- Knowledge of traditional and digital marketing tools
- Experience with WordPress is a plus
- Solid computer skills, including proficiency in Excel and familiarity with web analytics and Content Management System software
- Demonstrates an understanding of team dynamics and accountability
- Strong organizational skills with an emphasis on world-class follow-up
- Ability to use standard office equipment such as a laptop and smartphone
- Desire to improve processes and a proactive approach to work
