This position is for our client, a leading organization in the roofing and waterproofing industry, committed to delivering top-quality services and exceeding customer expectations. They empower property owners and businesses with innovative roofing solutions and exceptional customer service.
They are looking for an experienced Salesforce Administrator to manage and optimize their Salesforce environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Salesforce best practices and be proficient in configuring, customizing, and maintaining the Salesforce platform. This role will involve working with both Sandbox and production environments, setting up object relationships, creating fields and triggers, and implementing custom solutions using Apex and the Salesforce API. This role will also work with key business stakeholders to develop solutions for best processes and business success.
Key Responsibilities:
Salesforce Administration:
- Manage and configure Salesforce environments, including partial sandbox, dev sandboxes, and production.
- Create and maintain custom objects, fields, formulas, validation rules visual workflows, and flows
- Set up object relationships, including master-detail, lookup, and junction objects.
- Implement and manage data security through roles, profiles, sharing rules, and permission sets.
Customization and Development:
- Develop and manage custom applications using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, Lightning Web Components, Aura Components, and the Salesforce API.
- Write and maintain Apex triggers, classes, and batch processes.
- Familiarity with REST and SOAP APIs so you can assist the dev team in connection to other internal and external systems. Work with third-party integrations, such as telephony integrations, and document generation integrations like PandaDoc, Conga, etc.
- Proficiency in using Git for version control, including creating and managing repositories, branching, committing changes, and handling pull requests to ensure a streamlined development and release process.
- Experience with GitHub or similar platforms to host and manage Salesforce metadata, enabling effective collaboration and integration of changes using a source-driven workflow.
User Support and Training:
- Provide end-user support and troubleshooting for Salesforce-related issues.
- Regularly develop and deliver training materials and sessions for end-users to enhance their understanding and usage of Salesforce.
Data Management:
- Perform data imports, exports, and updates using tools like Data Loader and Workbench.
- Maintain data integrity and accuracy through regular audits and cleanups.
Reporting and Dashboards:
- Create and manage custom reports and dashboards to provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
- Utilize Salesforce’s reporting capabilities to monitor key metrics and performance indicators. Project Management:
- Collaborate with various departments to gather requirements and translate them into Salesforce solutions.
- Manage and prioritize multiple projects and tasks, ensuring timely delivery and quality. Work with third-party Salesforce developers to manage projects.
Qualifications:
- Salesforce Administrator Certification is required; additional Salesforce certifications (e.g., Platform App Builder, Advanced Administrator) are a plus.
- Three years of experience as a Salesforce Administrator, with a strong understanding of Salesforce best practices and functionality.
- Proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and the Salesforce API.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
Nice to Have but not Essential:
- Experience with Salesforce DX and DevOps best practices to manage Salesforce development environments and streamline deployment processes.
- Knowledge of Salesforce Einstein Analytics or other business intelligence tools to enhance data analysis and reporting capabilities.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and project management tools like Jira or Asana to efficiently manage Salesforce projects.
- Understanding of Salesforce AppExchange and the ability to evaluate and integrate third-party applications that can extend the platform's functionality.
- Familiarity with change management processes to ensure smooth transitions when implementing new Salesforce features or updates.
