Your role
Joining our client as a Contracts Manager places you at the forefront of their legal and compliance operations, where you’ll focus on managing and overseeing the entire lifecycle of contracts. Your role is critical in ensuring that all contracts are compliant with company policies, legal requirements, and industry standards. Your expertise in contract management, combined with your attention to detail and negotiation skills, will be essential in protecting the client's interests and supporting its business objectives. Additionally, your strategic thinking and communication skills will contribute to the overall effectiveness of their contract management processes.
Your responsibilities
- Oversee the entire lifecycle of contracts, from drafting and negotiation to execution and renewal.
- Ensure all contracts comply with legal requirements, company policies, and industry standards, identifying and mitigating potential risks.
- Lead contract negotiations with vendors, clients, and partners, ensuring favorable terms and conditions for the company.
- Draft, review, and revise contracts to ensure accuracy, clarity, and alignment with business objectives.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders, including legal, finance, procurement, and sales teams, to ensure contract terms meet company goals and requirements.
- Maintain and manage a centralized contract database, ensuring all contracts are accurately recorded and easily accessible.
- Monitor contract performance and compliance, providing regular reports and updates to senior management.
- Address and resolve contract-related disputes and issues promptly and effectively.
- Assist in the development and implementation of contract management policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and compliance.
- Provide training and support to internal teams on contract management processes and best practices.
- Located in Mexico City or willing to relocate. This is a hybrid position
Your qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in contract management, legal, or a related role.
- Strong understanding of US and international contract law and legal requirements.
- Proven ability to negotiate and manage contracts effectively.
- Excellent drafting, review, and editing skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment and contribute to collective success.
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and integrity of contract information.
