Role overview

We are looking for a Full Charge Bookkeeper to join their team. Successful candidates for this position will be expected to strive for perfection and set the best example they can for their coworkers. This full-time, salaried position can be performed remotely with fairly flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Manage the daily sales reconciliation process.
• Manage all accounts payable processes and procedures (experience using bill.com is a plus)
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities, including analysis, financial reporting, review, and yearly audit.
• Ensure the accurate reporting of general ledger accounting in the company’s Netsuite accounting system.
• Perform inventory management and reconciliation in NetSuite.
• Prepare and supply documentation for supporting transactions as the CFO requests.
• Managing payment of sales tax via Avalara sales tax software on a monthly basis

Qualifications:

• Experience in financial reporting, month and year close processes, yearly audit, and reconciliations.
• Strong understanding of month-end and year end close processes.
• Proficient at making journal entries with supporting documentation and thorough explanations.
• Strong attention to detail, be well-organized and have solid interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficient at creating Excel V-Lookups and pivot tables.
• Ability to take ownership of her/his work product and able to work independently.
• US GAAP knowledge.

• Accounting experience working with NetSuite.
• An understanding of accounting for an eCommerce environment.
• Bill.com experience.
