Company Overview
This Company is the trusted home cleaning and laundry partner for most NYC and Chicago families and businesses. They service the most remote locations in these states and will expand to more U.S. states real soon!
They are changing the laundry and dry-cleaning industry with a 30-minute pick up time and a 24-hour delivery time. They also facilitate and manage the end-to-end logistics from scheduling, pick-up, processing, delivery, and after-market review to ensure high-quality control and customer satisfaction.
Role overview
Maintain constant communication with staff, and vendors to ensure proper operations of the company
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance protocols
- Increase the efficiency of existing processes and procedures to enhance the company’s internal capacity
- Ensure that operational activities remain on time and within budget
- Track staffing requirements, hiring new employees as needed
- Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable departments
Responsibilities
- Oversee recruiting activities, including the hiring and training of cleaners through phone interviews.
- Be the point of contact between cleaners and the clients.
- Lead, motivate, and support the large team within a time-sensitive and demanding environment.
- Manage data collection for the updating of metrics to achieve productivity targets, reduce cost per unit, eliminate errors, and deliver excellent customer service
- Partner with cross-functional teams to improve proprietary tools and systems
- Work closely with the owner of the Company to achieve goals and improve processes.
- Oversee materials and inventory.
- Conduct budget reviews for upper management.
- Create and manage invoices.
Required skills and qualifications
- 3 to 5 years of proven success in an operations management role or similar experience
- Strong skills in budget development and oversight
- Excellent ability to delegate responsibilities while maintaining organizational control of branch operations and customer service
- Proficiency in conflict management and business negotiation processes
- Knowledge of business productivity software and an aptitude for learning new applications
- Excellent verbal and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Ability to deliver communiques and presentations in a structured manner.
Preferred skills and qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in operations management, business administration, or related field
- Working knowledge of management software programs
- Tech-savvy
- Proven experience in recruiting and hiring personnel, preferably within the cleaning or related industry.
- Experience in QuickBooks would be an advantage.
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 9 am to 6 pm CST
Availability to attend any required assistance eventually on Saturdays.
