Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fund Administration Accountant to join our US-based client in the Private Equity industry. The ideal candidate possesses a strong background in fund accounting, particularly within venture capital and private equity environments. This role involves the preparation of financial statements, net asset value (NAV) calculations, and monthly reporting. 

The ideal candidate will also have teaching skills, as this person will be the first Accountant in the company. 

Responsibilities: 

• Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare accurate and timely financial statements for venture and private equity funds.

• NAV Calculations: Perform net asset value calculations for funds, ensuring precision and adherence to industry standards.

• Monthly Reporting: Generate detailed monthly reports for fund performance, including all necessary financial metrics and analyses.

• Compliance: Ensure all accounting practices comply with regulatory requirements and industry standards.

Key requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or CFA certification preferred.
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with keen attention to detail.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Capable of presenting complex financial information clearly.
• Strong experience working for US Companies.

  • +3 years of experience in fund administration accounting, specifically within venture capital or private equity funds.
