Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced AI Engineer with a strong background in Computer Vision to join our client's Company innovative team. The ideal candidate will hold a PhD in a related field and possess extensive experience in object tracking and detection. You will play a pivotal role in developing advanced computer vision solutions to enhance sports events and programming, contributing to the mission of excellence and innovation in sports.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement advanced computer vision algorithms for object tracking and detection in sports environments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate computer vision solutions into the sports event management platform.
- Conduct research and stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in computer vision and AI to continuously improve our technology.
- Develop and maintain scalable and efficient code for real-time video analysis and processing.
- Test and validate computer vision models to ensure high accuracy and performance in diverse sports settings.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior AI engineers.
- Present findings, innovations, and progress to stakeholders and executive leadership.
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field with a focus on Computer Vision.
- Proven experience in developing and deploying computer vision applications, particularly in object tracking and detection.
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, C++, and experience with computer vision libraries (e.g., OpenCV, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
- Demonstrated experience with real-world applications and examples of work in computer vision.
- Solid understanding of machine learning algorithms and their application to computer vision problems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills to effectively convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with GCP.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the sports industry or related fields.
- Familiarity with video analysis and processing in sports contexts.
- Knowledge of cloud computing platforms and services for scalable AI solutions.
