Requirements

1. Invoice Processing:

• Receive and verify invoices and requisitions for goods and services.
• Verify that transactions comply with financial policies and procedures.
• Prepare batches of invoices for data entry.
• Enter invoices for payment.

2. Payment Processing:

• Prepare and perform check runs.
• Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments.
• Ensure all payments are made in a timely manner.
• Reconcile accounts payable transactions.

3. Vendor Management:

• Maintain vendor files.
• Communicate with vendors regarding account status, discrepancies, and inquiries.
• Resolve payment discrepancies and disputes on behalf of the company.

4. Record Keeping:

• Maintain historical records by scanning and filing documents.
• Assist with month-end closing.
• Prepare reports as required by management.

5. Compliance:

• Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and procedures.
• Assist with audits by providing supporting documentation and information.

6. Administrative Support:

• Provide administrative support as needed.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.

Responsibilities​​​​​​

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in accounts payable or a related financial role.
• Familiarity with bookkeeping and basic accounting procedures.
• Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.
• Experience with accounting software (e.g., D365, Netsuite, QuickBooks, SAP, or Oracle).
• Strong data entry skills with a high degree of accuracy.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
