As a software engineer, you'll be building innovative student loan solutions that guide borrowers through onboarding, plan comparison, savings applications, and ongoing support—in a dynamic industry that keeps us on our toes. You’ll also be an integral part of every aspect of the company—from product strategy to company culture.

Responsibilities:

• You will use JavaScript, Nodejs, and React to develop new app features and APIs that help borrowers with repaying their loans
• You will use your coding and problem-solving skills to solve complex and interesting problems in the world of Fintech
• Every engineer reviews code and helps other team members find bugs and write better production code
• You will use your DB skills to help the team investigate bugs and edge cases in the product 
• You will use your system design skills to help us plan our next big features and future products 

Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of application, data, and platform experience.
• Experience working with JavaScript, Nodejs, and React.
• Experience working with Databases, such as SQL Server and PostgreSQL.
• Advanced English skill
• Soft skills: collaborative, communicative and openness to feedback and empathy valued along with ability to work independently when needed. Understanding the company mission is a plus.
